Kiara’s Cantinho do Mar

Très bel appartement près de Funchal. Les hôtes ont été très accommodants pour nous - notre vol a été retardé de plusieurs heures et malgré notre arrivée tardive, nous avons été accueillies chaleureusement. De plus, nous avons eu un petit problème technique à l’appartement qui a été réglé la journée même. La communication était simple et facile, et les recommandations de Claudia nous ont permis de faire une excursion inoubliable. Finalement, que dire de la vue ! Je recommande sans hésiter

I loved this apartment! It was beautiful and spacious and had everything I needed to work remotely and do some light cooking. I appreciated being able to do laundry and have private parking. The location is great for getting around via car and a nice walk to downtown Funchal. There is a bit of a climb up the hill on your walk back which personally I enjoyed. The area is very quiet and safe. The cafe/bakery right outside the front gate was also very good. Thanks for a great stay!

Clean, spacious, stocked with all the amenities you would want including iron and ironing board, basic spices, tea, and a Dolce Gusto coffee machine. Great communication from the property managers, one of whom met us in person to check in and showed us everything. The unit is as pictured with beautiful views of Funchal, secure garage parking, and a great little cafe right at the gate. Would highly recommend! Just be prepared for a 20-40 minute walk down to Funchal (or take a bus or Bolt taxi), and a steep uphill climb back home - but it’s a great leg and cardio workout! 😊

We had a lovely, comfortable stay at Elia’s. The apartment is tastefully decorated and very spacious for two adults. All amenities were provided including a fully equipped kitchen, air con and smart TV. The private indoor parking was a positive and the complex felt very safe. The view of Funchal is a nice addition, however the balcony was tight for two adults due to the aircon unit. The location was good for our itinerary as it was easy to get onto the highway to access other parts of the island. The walk to the centre is quite long, but taxis were cheap and there is a bus stop right outside the complex. As stated in other reviews the mattress is very firm and not great for people with back issues. All in all we really enjoyed our stay and felt at home in Madeira.
